AND THE WINNERS ARE!
Last week in Chicago, at the 80th WorldCon called ChiCon 8, the winners of the 2022 Hugo awards were announced. There were a plethora of finalists (and you can check out the very extensive list here), however the list of finalists this year sings to my heart! Why am I so excited this year you may ask? Well, not only have I read the majority of the winners works and loved them, but, this year…..drum roll please…..the winners are all female! No big deal you may say – but this TOR.COM article may give you some idea why to a female sci-fi and fantasy fan this is so exciting. Anyway, gender bias aside, true fantasy fans don’t really care who writes their stuff, as long as it is amazing and set in an exciting and thoroughly different and well fleshed out world full of interesting characters and with fabulous storylines.
So, without further ado, please check out some of the amazing winners below.
