The longlist for the Booker Prize 2024 has been announced!
The ‘Booker’s dozen’ of 13 books, has been selected by a panel of judges that include artist and writer Edmund de Waal, award-winning novelist Sara Collins, the Guardian fiction editor Justine Jordan, professor Yiun Lee and composer and producer Nitin Sawheny.
The longlist was selected from 156 books published in the UK between 1 October 2023 and 30 September 2024. The shortlist of six books will be announced in mid-September 2023. The winning author will receive £50,000 and international recognition.
