Hello anime aficionados! Well, well, well – we are well overdue for another Anime Update! Luckily, we are still in time (technically) for our Winter update. Double-lucky, we have a bumper crop of new titles to keep you home and get you through the still cold and miserable weather.

Shall we see what we’ve got in store?

Refreshingly, we start with some feature films today. There are only two items but, as one is a ‘classics collection’ comprising three blockbusters of the past, we actually have four titles to check out!

The “Anime Classics” collection comprises three quality feature films of the late 90s/early00s: Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Spriggan and Millennium Actress.

The other is the box office smash feature film prequel to the super popular Jujutsu Kaisen* series: Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
*FYI, as the hotly anticipated season two started it’s broadcast just a few weeks ago, we’ll be getting hold of Season One asap! In the mean time, check out the manga (click here).

Next up are some new series to sink your teeth into. We have a mixture of part 1 of’s and complete first seasons. Or, in the case of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, the Golden Wind’ arc re-released as a complete set. (FYI, we look forward to adding more complete Jojo arcs to our collection in future).

In the case of Attack on Titan, we have the Fourth/”Final” Season – Part 1 to borrow separately on DVD and Blu-ray.

With Mushoku Tensei = Jobless Reincarnation we inexplicably received Season 1, Part 2 (also known as “Cour 2“) first.

We eventually got hold of Season 1, Part 1 so now we have the complete first season ready to go. Season two is running ‘as we speak’, so this is the perfect time to catch up if you haven’t already checked it out.

And lastly but not leastly, [“that’s totally not a word! – Ed.] we have a sequel series. It’s Season 2 of Zombie Land Saga, titled “Revenge”.

If you never checked out Season One, give it a go. I came across it by accident and was hooked within the first 5 minutes. An unexpectedly hilarious zombie/horror, comedy, pop-idol mash up. A hidden gem that deserves more fans.

Well, that’s it for this update. Hope it’s enough to keep you busy. Until the next one, Ja ne! “See ya!”
