The 2024 Miles Franklin Literary Award shortlist has been announced!
Former winner Alexis Wright joins the authors, along with twice-shortlisted author Gregory Day. The Award was established in 1954, honouring author Stella Maria Sarah Miles Franklin’s wishes to promote and support Australian Literature by celebrating novels representative of Australian life.
Each shortlisted author receives $5,000, with the winner earning $60,000.
